We are currently working in partnership with a local council based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint a Partnership Support Officer on 12-month FTC. This will be a full-time position, with a salary of £30,210. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-facing role and can provide administration support on various projects for the community.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing vital administrative, coordination, and project support across the Communities team
  • Supporting multi-agency partnerships by attending meetings, taking accurate notes, and tracking actions
  • Delivering administrative support to the Safety Advisory Group (SAG), liaising with event organisers and partner agencies to ensure events are safe and well planned
  • Reviewing event documentation, including risk assessments and event notifications
  • Supporting the administration of the local Health and Wellbeing Board by arranging meetings and managing funding processes
  • Processing applications for temporary road closures associated with events
  • Assisting with capital projects, including playground refurbishments, by preparing documentation, updating project plans, and monitoring progress
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely follow-up of actions and project milestones
  • Coordinating communication between stakeholders, partner agencies, and event organisers
  • Monitoring project and event-related activities to support effective delivery and compliance with relevant requirements

Experience required:

  • Administrative, coordination or support role
  • Community safety, emergency planning or community services
  • Local authority or public sector environment

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively and independently

Working hours: 37 a week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
