Our client, based in Essex, is currently recruiting for a Housing Options and Advice Team Leader on a 3-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rate is negotiable dependent on experience and whether you have experience using the Hope system.

The ideal candidate will have experience signing off on s184 decisions and also have previous experience managing teams of around 10 people. The candidate must be able to start soon.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team of 10 Housing Options Officers
  • Signing off on s184 decisions
  • Assisting Housing Options Officers with complex cases
  • Conducting periodic performance reviews
  • Ensuring consistently high performance from members of the teams

Experience required:

  • Experience with the Hope system
  • Experience managing a team

Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00, 1 day working from home.
