We are currently partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Kent, who are recruiting for a CDM Consultant/Principal Designer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client are specialists in Designing, Costing and Managing Construction projects over a wide variety of sectors and clients across the South-East of England.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of £35,000 to £45,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing Pre-Construction information and Construction Phase Plans
- Attending Design Team Meetings, resolving design related health and safety issues
- Carrying out regular CDM site audits and attending progress meetings
- Compiling Health & Safety files during the project for the client at handover
- Working with Clients and Contractors to provide advice on Health and Safety practices on site, in design and future maintenance
Experience required:
- Experience as a Principal Designer or CDM Advisor role
- Ideally with CMaPS / NEBOSH construction certificate
- Experience of working on a variety of projects from demolition to large scale construction
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Excellent communication, management and team working skills
- Understanding of the design hazard elimination process

- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5:30pm
