Job Description
Our client, based in Gloucestershire, is currently recruiting for 2 x Building Surveyors on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The daily rate for this role is circa £325.00 per day via an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out planned, reactive and cyclical Surveys on commercial dwellings including Schools, Libraries and Museums.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out Surveys on a variety of property types including schools, leisure centres, listed buildings, libraries and many more
- Tendering for large scale planned works projects for commercial properties
- Monitoring the work of contractors on site and ensuring SLAs are adhered to
- Managing reactive works using a mixture of an internal DLO and third party contractors
- Challenging the work of contractors where needed and post inspecting works
- Maintaining positive relationships with tenants, leaseholders and service managers
Candidate Requirements:
- HNC or HND qualification in a relevant field
- A solid understanding of commercial dwellings
- Full clean driving licence
Working hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, flexible start/finish times
