We are currently partnering with a Charity based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Company Secretary to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position with a salary of £50,000 and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading corporate governance, legal compliance and board administration for the organisation
  • Supporting Board, Committees and Senior Management Team, providing high-quality secretariat services, including managing governance calendars, statutory filings, board meetings, agendas, minutes and action tracking
  • Advising on governance matters, monitor legislative and regulatory developments, and helping ensure board decisions, policies and procedures are implemented effectively across the organisation
  • Acting as Data Protection Officer, embedding GDPR best practice across the organisation and overseeing data protection processes, policies and compliance

Requirements:

  • Governance experience within the not-for-profit sector
  • Ability to attend Bristol office
