We are currently partnering with a leading social housing provider based in Birmingham, who are recruiting for an FP&A and Treasury Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position with a salary of £38,728 and the start date is subject to notice. This is a hybrid position and offers working from home two days per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and updating key financial, treasury and property portfolio data across multiple systems.
  • Assisting with day-to-day treasury activities including monitoring cash balances, preparing cash flow forecasts, administering loan portfolios, calculating loan covenants, processing treasury journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Providing support with financial planning activities by maintaining the business plan, updating reporting dashboards and assisting with financial analysis.
  • Producing and maintaining financial appraisals for development schemes and business opportunities, helping to assess project viability.
  • Contributing to the preparation and submission of key regulatory returns including SDR, QFS and FFR.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting, working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls and deliver better business insight.

Requirements:

  • Significant finance/treasury experience within social housing.
  • Treasury and project appraisal experience.
  • Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) desirable.
  • Knowledge of social housing finance and the rent standard.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables).
