The predicted salary is between 36000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are currently working in partnership with a Health and social care company, who are recruiting for an Employee Relations Specialist. This job is fully remote and paying a salary of up to £40,000.
The ideal candidate will have strong employee relations experience, and be confident advising managers on complex casework, employment legislation, policies and procedures.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing proactive, high quality and people-centred HR advice across the full employment life cycle
- Acting as an escalation point for contentious ER cases, including potential gross misconduct and dismissals
- Supporting line managers with complex disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and welfare cases
- Reviewing ER casework, monitoring trends and reporting learnings to support legally compliant decision-making
- Coaching and mentoring People Advisors, ensuring ER and employment law knowledge remains up to date
Experience required:
- Experience working in a People/HR role advising different levels of management
- Experience and knowledge of employment law and managing employee relations cases
- Experience using HR systems and processes
- Experience deputising for a lead HR role in a similarly complex organisation
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Up-to-date working knowledge of employment legislation
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise a high-volume caseload
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Pragmatic problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
