Our client, based in the West End, is currently recruiting for a Project Management Associate/Associate Director on a Permanent contract. The position will be working on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with refurbishment projects in central London and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects (typically £10m+) across commercial office, mixed-use, and Living sector developments (BTR, PBSA, PBSL, later living, and private residential).
  • Taking full ownership of projects from inception through to completion, including planning, procurement, delivery, and handover.
  • Acting as the primary client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships with private developers and key stakeholders.
  • Providing strategic project advice to clients, including programme, cost, risk, and procurement strategies.
  • Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timely delivery.
  • Overseeing project programmes and budgets, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Leading project meetings, reporting on progress, risks, and key milestones to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting business development activities, contributing to the growth of the London Living sector offering and wider project management team.
  • Leveraging existing industry networks to identify new opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered in line with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practice.
  • Maintaining flexibility to support projects across multiple sectors, with a focus on central London refurbishment and redevelopment schemes.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • RICS chartered or equivalent.
  • Project Management experience of £10m+ commercial office and/or mixed-use redevelopment, refurbishment projects in central London.

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Proven experience delivering £10m+ construction projects, ideally within commercial office, mixed-use, or Living sector developments.
  • Strong track record in refurbishment and redevelopment projects, particularly within central London.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks effectively.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. The role will be predominantly based out of 33 Margaret Street HQ, however, it will be expected that the applicant will be happy to work within the M25. Whilst the role is Living sector focused, candidates will need to be flexible and open to working on projects in other sectors.
