Overview

Leading a team of specialist recruiters covering Property Management in the South West, Wales and the North West. We are currently working with a leading Social Housing provider in the Southwest, who are looking for an Asset Appraisals Manager on an interim basis.

This is a full-time position, with a generous work from home policy. The hourly rate for the role is circa Β£32.00 per hour (the client is happy to negotiate).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with asset acquisition and disposal, and an in depth understanding of cost analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing financial and strategic data to assess properties and recommend actions based on findings, including renovations or disposals
  • Identifying why certain assets may be underperforming, ensuring data is robust
  • Evaluating necessary works and associated costs to ensure stock is maintained to an acceptable standard
  • Validating stock databases
  • Conducting inspections on properties and presented development project proposals β€” completing options appraisals and feasibility studies
  • Supporting an existing disposals programme by identifying low-value assets and preparing handover packs

Qualifications

  • Ideally hold a HNC/HND or relevant Building Surveying degree
  • Demonstrable experience in analysing an organisation\’s housing stocks to understand their benefits/drawbacks

Working hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, Flexible Start/Finish Times
