This role can be completed on a fully remote basis.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Handling own caseload of Adult Social Care and Court of Protection matters, including care management and assessments, mental capacity, mental health, asylum, immigration and adult safeguardingUndertaking own advocacy and representing the Council at Court as requiredAdvising on Education legal matters as and when required, such as Admissions (not essential)Requirements:Experience working in local governmentExtensive knowledge of Adult Social Care lawKnowledge of Educational law, e.g. admissions (desirable)Rewards and Benefits:Working hours:37 hours per weekMonday – Friday, flexible start/finish timesPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
