FULLY REMOTE | 22.5 hours per week | Interim – Permanent opportunity

Our client – a reputable Charity based in London and the surrounding counties who are proud to support vulnerable young adults. They are currently looking for a part time Finance Officer to join their central finance function. The role is initially on a 2-month temporary basis but they are keen for this person to apply for the permanent part time role.

Start date: Dependent on notice period, ideally W/c 11th May 2026

Interview date: W/c: 4th May 2026 on MS Teams

Permanent salary: £34,000 per annum (FTE)

Interim rate: Negotiable dependent on experience

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Maintaining the general ledger and preparing all monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts. This includes accruals, prepayments, journals, variance analysis etc
  • Monthly payroll processing including HMRC & pension submissions
  • Providing financial information for the Finance Manager to assist in budget preparation, monitoring, forecasting, and controlling expenditures
  • Making allocations of overhead
