We are currently hiring for an interim Procurement Consultant to work for a Lincolnshire-based local authority. This is for three months initially (with scope for extension) and you can work fully remote (you would just need to collect equipment on your first day).

They are looking for someone with significant procurement experience within a Housing Revenue Account (HRA) / Private Registered Providers (PRP) environment, and with a strong working knowledge of the Procurement Act.

Responsibilities

  • Leading on pre‑procurement stage, including drafting invitations to tender and detail works specifications for a range of HRA contracts, ranging in value up to GBP5 million.
  • Contracts include: responsive repairs, capital works programmes e.g. kitchens and bathrooms, roofing programmes and pest control services.
  • Specifications need to reflect lessons learned from existing contracts, capture and embed the tenant voice and meet legislative, regulatory and compliance requirements.
