We are currently working in partnership with a social housing provider in Surrey, who are looking to appoint an Interim Sheltered Housing Manager on a 3-month temporary assignment. This will be a full-time position based across two sheltered housing schemes, paying a day rate flexible on experience.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of providing housing related support, managing staff and responsible for driving service improvement.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing 2x sheltered housing schemes (within walking distance)
  • C. 30x beds supporting those with substance misuse issues
  • C. 20x beds supporting those facing homelessness in temporary accommodation
  • Managing 10x Support Workers
  • Driving through service improvement
  • Coaching staff to make the correct decisions and improving staff culture
  • Staff 1-2-1's and appraisals

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Supported Housing
  • Managing teams of c. 10x staff

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Service improvement

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, however must be willing to partake in an emergency on-call rota.
