Our client, a Local Authority based in Wiltshire, is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager- HRA on a 6-month temporary contract. The position is due to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The daily rate on offer is C.£. The role will require office presence 3x per week (there may be some flexibility for the right candidate).
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Housing Revenue Accounts within a Local Government setting.
- Reviewing and redrafting the budget for HRA in accordance with Local Government Housing Legislation
- Supporting wider Council projects with costing and advising on HRA legal requirements
- Ensuring expenditure, income levels and capital financing is determined in accordance with legislative requirements
- Leading on the year-end closedown of accounts
Extensive experience required in Housing Revenue Account.
Experience working within a local government setting.
Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.
