The predicted salary is between 40000 - 52000 Β£ per year.
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Portishead, who are recruiting for an Electrical Services Manager on a permanent basis. The position is due to start as soon as possible, with the client prepared to wait for notice periods. The salary for the role will be £47,900 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team to deliver both responsive and planned electrical maintenance and hold an NVQ Lvl 3 in electrical installations.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing all repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities for electrical systems and installations across domestic and commercial properties, including lifts and the solar PV portfolio, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and best practice.
- Creating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on delivering right-first-time outcomes.
- Maximising value for money by carefully managing job resources and verifying costs against expected values.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of a continuous service improvement plan focused on enhancing customer experience.
- Overseeing post-work quality inspections and electrical audits within agreed timescales, and addressing any quality concerns with the appropriate Supervisor.
- Resolving customer complaints efficiently and effectively, taking full ownership through to a successful conclusion.
Experience required:
- Experience in social housing.
- Experience overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Experience in overseeing and managing budgets.
- Experience carrying out post work quality inspections.
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- NVQ LVL 3 in electrical installations.
- NICEIC Duty Holder or Qualified Supervisor.
- 18th edition.
