We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Stock Condition/EPC Surveyor on a six-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, and the hourly rate of pay is Β£38.79 per hour to be paid via an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate will have experience undertaking stock condition surveys and EPC assessments within residential housing. They will possess strong knowledge of building construction, asset management, and energy efficiency standards, along with excellent communication and organisational skills to effectively manage survey programmes and engage with a range of stakeholders.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting stock condition surveys across residential housing stock to assess property condition and lifecycle requirements
- Undertaking Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments and producing compliant energy ratings and reports
- Collecting, validating, and updating asset data within housing asset management systems
- Identifying maintenance, refurbishment, and capital investment needs through detailed property inspections
- Producing accurate survey reports and recommendations to support planned maintenance programmes
- Liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to arrange surveys and ensure successful project delivery
