Central London – Zone 1 | 37 hours per week | Interim role

Our client – based in Central London – are currently looking for a Development Funding Manager to join their central finance function on an interim basis. The role is 37.00 hours per week, and the hiring manager is offering an excellent hybrid working pattern of 1-2 days per week! Start date: Dependent on notice period, ideally May 2026.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Leading on donor engagement and funding relationships, coordinating outreach to foundation, government, individual and HNWI donors; representing the organisation to donors and strengthening cultivation and stewardship strategies.
  • Delivering grant and funding management, drafting and securing high-quality grant proposals, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and overseeing grant agreements and reporting.
  • Producing donor-focused financial reports, proposal budgets, and funding updates in line with grant specifications.
  • Developing and guiding fundraising strategy and funding forecasts, advising leadership on resource mobilisation to meet organisational goals.
  • Conducting donor research.
