Our client, based in Lincolnshire, is currently recruiting for a fully remote Contract Lawyer on a 3-month rolling temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is circa. £50-55 via an umbrella company based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in subsidy control and procurement advice, with the ability to work on a team basis.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Report into the Senior Lawyer, whilst helping and training more junior members of staff
  • Lead team meetings, ensuring team work as well as individual work is carried out successfully
  • Manage legal risk, including advising on challenges, judicial review and enforcement issues relating to subsidy control
  • Draft, review, and advise on legal documentation relating to subsidies, including funding agreements, grant conditions, and clawback provisions

Skills and Experience required:

  • 5 years‘ PQE
  • Experience in subsidy control and procurement advice
  • Contracts experience within the local government setting

Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm. Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
