The predicted salary is between 42000 - 46800 € per year.

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority, who are recruiting for a Carpenter on a rolling contract with a minimum of six months of work. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £22.50 per hour on a CIS basis. You will receive a van after an initial trial period.

The client is looking for someone with previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience, alongside strong all-round carpentry skills. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Carrying out kitchen installation and carpentry works within domestic properties
  • Completing associated basic plumbing and tiling works
  • Undertaking repairs, adjustments, and finishing works to a high standard
  • Working within occupied homes and liaising professionally with tenants
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with expected standards

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience carrying out kitchen fitting
  • Experience carrying out associated trade works

Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm (15:30 finish on Friday). Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
