We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the Southwest, who are recruiting for an Electrical Operations Manager on a permanent contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for this position is £62,000 per annum with a circa £5,000 car allowance or vehicle.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with previous experience of managing electrical planning works across Social Housing or Construction environments, in addition to having existing knowledge of both domestic and commercial electrical systems.
- 50 engineers and four delivery managers
- Delivering programmes across electrical testing & inspection, rewires, upgrades, heating systems, and EV charge point installations
- Acting as the Senior Qualifying Supervisor (NICEIC), ensuring full technical compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory standards are adhered to across all electrical works
- Experience of leadership roles within Social Housing organisations
- Experience of managing electrical planned works across Housing or Construction environments
- Experience in programme delivery, forecasting, and cyclical works planning
- Experience of successful stakeholder communication and collaboration throughout the delivery of a project/programme
- Experience of budgeting and commercial management across large operational teams
- A strong understanding of electrical planned works across the Social Housing sector
- Ability to manage large commercial budgets across the delivery of programmes
- Understanding of complex electrical services including testing and inspections, rewires, upgrades, heating systems, and EV charging point installations
- Knowledge of BS7671, BS5839-6, CDM Regulations, and EV charging installation standards
- NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds 2391, Current BS7671, AM2, and eligibility for NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Status.
