We are proud to be partnering with a large social housing provider, who are looking to appoint a Kitchen and Bathroom Fitter on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time position based in Bristol, with a van, fuel card and coffee card all provided as part of the role. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while providing an excellent customer experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Installing and refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms within occupied and void properties
- Carrying out multi-trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, flooring and decorating
- Delivering planned maintenance works to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company procedures
- Liaising with residents and providing excellent customer service throughout projects
- Diagnosing repairs and identifying the most effective solutions
- Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition
- Ordering and managing materials to ensure efficient completion of works
Experience required:
- Experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms within domestic or social housing properties
- Proven multi-trade experience, including carpentry and plumbing
- Experience carrying out planned maintenance, refurbishment or related works
