Our client, based in Bournemouth, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary contract until the end of November. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rate for the role is £22.98 per hour via Umbrella or PAYE equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with housing management and drive with access to their own vehicle. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Experience of working in front-line housing management
  • Thorough understanding of tenancy and leasehold management
  • Knowledge of housing repairs and maintenance
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to deal with the public exercising tact and discretion
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
  • Able to identify basic repairs and remedies
  • Able to visit residents in their own homes and attend site meetings
  • Able to attend evening meetings when required

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience with tenancy management, ASB, property inspections

Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30am-17:00pm.
