We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Gloucestershire, who are recruiting for a Repairs Scheduler on a three-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £20 via an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a repairs scheduling or administrative role within social housing, with a strong understanding of responsive repairs processes, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Scheduling responsive repair appointments for trade operatives and contractors
- Managing and monitoring operative diaries to maximise productivity and meet service targets
- Liaising with tenants, operatives and contractors to coordinate appointments and resolve queries
- Prioritising emergency and routine repairs in line with service standards
- Updating repairs systems and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the delivery of a customer-focused repairs service from initial contact through to completion
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
- Experience scheduling responsive repairs
- Experience liaising with contractors
Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm, 5 days a week in the office.
