Planning Enforcement Lawyer

Our client, based in Ipswich, is currently recruiting for a Planning Enforcement Lawyer on a 6-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Handling a variety of enforcement matters, including enforcement notice breaches, breach of condition notices/planning enforcement notices, planning injunctions and community infrastructure levy recovery
• Working alongside the Senior Lawyer, assisting them to get through the backlog of planning enforcements matters
• Some advocacy required, potentially once per week from the start of the contract

Skills & Experience required:

• Experience with advocacy
• Experience working with customers within local government
