We are currently partnering with a leading housing provider based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Multi-Trade Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £35,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out general property repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment
- Conducting property inspections and ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
- Identifying maintenance issues and completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting any issues requiring specialist attention
- Communicating professionally with residents and coordinating external contractors where necessary
- Working sensitively and respectfully within a domestic violence charity environment, maintaining confidentiality and awareness of residents' needs
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
- Experience dealing with domestic repairs
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Experience carrying out general property repairs and maintenance within residential properties
- Basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating
- Ability to identify maintenance issues and undertake effective remedial works
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work sensitively and professionally with vulnerable residents
Working hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 09:00am-17:30pm
