Our client, based in Ellesmere Port, is currently recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator on a 3 month temporary contract, which may go longer. This is a hybrid position with travel to the office required 3 days per week.
The position is due to start immediately and our client proudly offers a four day working week (34 hours, Monday – Thursday, 8am – 5pm). The hourly rate for this position is c.£20 - £23 via an umbrella company.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Holding individual responsibility for processing monthly payroll for 350 staff
- Ensuring timely and accurate payment and responding to any pay related queries
- Processing starters and leavers as well as statutory pay/deductions
- Reconciling payroll to ensure conistent accuracy
- Responding to and resolving pension related queries
- Supporting with the production of process notes
Experience required:
- Experience with end to end payroll processing, ideally in a standalone setting
- Experience handling payroll and pension related queries
Working hours:
- 34 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday, 8am-5pm
