We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in Gloucestershire, who are recruiting for a M&E Surveyor on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start immediately. The salary range is between £45,034 - £49,639 annually.
The ideal candidate will have a clean, full UK driving licence.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Developing and managing planned and cyclical maintenance programmes for M&E assets
Preparing specifications, tender documents, and managing procurement processes in line with council policies.
Overseeing contractors and ensuring works are delivered to agreed standards, budgets, and KPIs
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards (e.g. NICEIC, Gas Safe, H&S)
Liaising with residents, contractors, and internal teams to ensure a customer focused approach
Maintaining accurate records of inspections, works, and asset conditions
Desirable experience required:
Experience in an appropriate technical or professional role
HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIBSE, IET, CIOB) or working towards a professional qualification
Proven experience in surveying and managing M&E installations in residential or public sector buildings
Working hours:
37 hours per week
