About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Tester to join our growing team here at Aldridge and Sons. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work, ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently, safely and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and motorcycles
* Inspect vehicle components and systems to identify any faults or issues
* Conduct emissions tests to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
* Record test results accurately and maintain detailed records
* Keep up-to-date with current MOT testing regulations and guidelines
* Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as an MOT Tester
* Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and components
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording test results
* Hard-working with a strong work ethic
* Reliable, motivated and committed to high standards
* Confident and professional in their approach
* Detail-focused with strong problem-solving skills
* Dedicated to getting the job done right the first time
