We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing and well-invested IT function within a large, modern on-site environment designed to support collaboration, autonomy, and work–life balance. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being a technical expert, contributing to projects, and working in a low-stress, non-micromanaged environment where you can genuinely leave work at the door at 5pm.
The Role
- You will operate as part of a skilled senior team, providing 3rd line Infrastructure support and delivering project work as required.
- A key focus of the role will be supporting and shaping a hybrid infrastructure, including the ongoing migration of services into the cloud.
Key responsibilities
- Acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues
- Delivering 3rd line Infrastructure support across a Microsoft-based environment
- Leading and contributing to infrastructure and cloud migration projects
- Supporting and optimising a hybrid Azure and on-prem environment
- Taking ownership of Intune configuration, management, and optimisation
- Working closely with the wider IT team to maintain high service standards
Technology Environment
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Windows Server & Desktop
- Purview (hands-on experience is essential)
- Microsoft Intune (hands-on expertise essential, including setup and configuration)
