We’re currently partnered with a well-established Financial Services organisation based in Birmingham that’s investing heavily in digital transformation and looking to bring on board a Software Test Lead to drive quality assurance across their technology landscape.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Tester or Test Lead who thrives in Agile environments and is passionate about embedding automation, driving best practices, and shaping future-proof QA functions. You\’ll be joining a growing business that combines stability with innovation, and you\’ll play a key role in the delivery of high-quality software solutions across multiple product teams.

The Role

As Software Test Lead, you’ll:

  • Lead testing efforts from early-stage refinement through to final release
  • Own quality across multiple products, working hands-on with automation tools
  • Mentor and support junior testers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Build test strategies, maintain clean reporting, and ensure the delivery of robust and scalable solutions
  • Champion Agile QA practices, engaging closely with developers, BAs, and stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement across test frameworks, tooling, and methodology

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in a Test Lead or Senior QA role
  • Strong grasp of Agile delivery and QA processes
  • Proficient in designing and implementing test automation frameworks
  • Skilled in test data and environment management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence quality across cross-functional teams
  • Hybrid working model (Birmingham office base)
  • Starting salary from £50,000
