With major SAP transformation initiatives underway, they're looking for an experienced SAP Functional Manager to build capability, lead a talented team and help drive the next phase of their digital journey. Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of SAP Functional Consultants, Business Analysts and Product Specialists.
- Oversee SAP functional delivery, application support, configuration and continuous improvement.
- Define and deliver the SAP functional roadmap in line with business objectives.
- Manage third-party suppliers and offshore delivery partners.
- Ensure governance, quality and compliance across SAP delivery.
- Collaborate with technical SAP teams while remaining accountable for functional delivery across multiple SAP modules.
- Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance business processes through SAP.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience leading SAP Functional teams within a large enterprise environment.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- A broad understanding of SAP landscapes, ideally including SAP S/4HANA and multiple functional modules.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and offshore teams.
- Exposure to SAP transformation or enterprise change programmes.
- The ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate business needs into successful SAP delivery.
- Utilities or other highly regulated industry experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
