A leading aerospace engineering organisation is seeking an Account Manager / Strategic Account Specialist to join its growing commercial team in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager, Commercial Executive, Customer Success professional or Business Development specialist looking to build a long-term career within the aerospace sector.

Working closely with senior commercial leadership, the successful candidate will help manage relationships with some of the world's leading aerospace and defence organisations, supporting both existing programmes and future business opportunities across a diverse portfolio of customers. This is not a high-volume cold-calling sales role. The organisation already works with many of the industry's most recognised manufacturers and operators. Success comes from building trusted relationships, understanding customer needs, coordinating internal stakeholders and ensuring customers continue to view the business as a valued long-term partner.

The role offers exposure to major global aerospace programmes, international travel opportunities and clear career progression within a highly respected engineering organisation.

The Role
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic aerospace and defence customers
  • Support the management and growth of existing customer accounts
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, new programmes and additional revenue streams
  • Coordinate customer requirements with engineering, manufacturing and operational teams
  • Support the preparation of quotations, proposals and commercial submissions
  • Attend customer meetings, programme reviews and industry events
  • Work closely with international colleagues across Europe and North America
  • Maintain accurate opportunity and account information within CRM systems
  • Support long-term account planning and customer engagement strategies
About You
