A leading UK-based Value-Added Reseller (VAR) is continuing to invest heavily in its Digital practice and is now seeking an experienced Cloud Sales Specialist to join its growing team. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role focused on the commercial sector, working with organisations to accelerate their cloud journeys using Microsoft Azure, alongside emerging Data and AI solutions. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving new business, expanding existing accounts, and shaping end-to-end cloud, data, and AI propositions for customers across multiple industries.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive revenue growth across Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, including migrations, modernisation, security, and managed services.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities within the commercial sector.
- Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements and position tailored cloud, data, and AI solutions.
- Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design compelling proposals and business cases.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Data, Analytics, and AI services.
- Build strong relationships with Microsoft and other strategic technology partners.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting via CRM.
- Meet and exceed revenue and margin targets.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a cloud sales role within a VAR, MSP, or systems integrator environment.
- Strong track record selling Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Experience or strong interest in Data, Analytics, and AI solutions.
- Background selling into the commercial sector (mid-market to enterprise).
- Consultative, value-led sales approach with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially astute, target-driven, and comfortable working in a growth-focused environment.
- Experience working with Microsoft partner programmes is highly desirable.
