What you will do

You’ll step into a senior technical role where no two days look the same. Acting as the final escalation point, you’ll solve complex technical challenges, support critical projects, and help shape robust, secure, future proof IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues
• Diagnose and resolve advanced server, network, cloud, and application problems
• Support the planning, design, and delivery of IT projects
• Perform high-level system administration across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes
• Ensure systems remain secure, resilient, and compliant
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation
• Monitor performance, optimise systems, and plan for future growth
• Work closely with customers, explaining technical solutions in plain English
• Lead by example and support the development of junior team members

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a senior IT support or infrastructure role within an MSP environment
• Strong knowledge of Azure and high-availability environments
• Experience with VDI platforms and endpoint management tools (Intune, MDM/MTD)
• Strong security awareness (EDR/XDR, monitoring, best practices)
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with both customers and colleagues
• Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
• Relevant certifications are a bonus, not a blocker

• Work arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
