The Opportunity
You will lead the end-to-end marketing delivery for a new flagship event, responsible for building and executing multi-channel campaigns that generate excitement, credibility, and commercial traction in a competitive market. Working closely with senior stakeholders and commercial teams, you will define positioning, develop audience strategy, and deliver impactful campaigns across digital, CRM, content, partnerships, and PR support. This is a highly visible role with real ownership and the opportunity to directly influence the success of a major international launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the full marketing strategy for a new event launch from concept through to execution.
- Drive visitor acquisition campaigns to maximise registrations and engagement across key audience segments.
- Support exhibitor marketing activity to strengthen pipeline growth and commercial conversion.
- Develop and manage multi-channel campaigns across email, paid media, social, CRM and website activity.
- Build and optimise audience journeys, ensuring strong engagement before, during, and after the event.
- Create compelling content and messaging to establish brand identity and market positioning.
- Work closely with sales and commercial teams to align marketing activity with revenue objectives.
- Manage performance reporting, tracking KPIs such as registrations, engagement, conversion and database growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners/agencies to deliver high-quality campaign output.
- Support PR, partnerships and industry engagement to amplify reach and credibility.
About You
- Proven experience in marketing within events, exhibitions, B2B media, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong track record of delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns end-to-end.
- Experience driving audience growth, lead generation, or registration-based marketing.
- Confident working with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid media and performance reporting.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills with a strong commercial mindset.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a launch or build-phase environment.
