The Role As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats across the organisation's infrastructure and systems. Monitoring and responding to security alerts and incidents. Managing and optimising EDR/MDR platforms. Supporting the administration and maintenance of firewall technologies. Monitoring and analysing IDS/IPS solutions. Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and coordinating remediation activities. Assisting with incident response investigations and root cause analysis. Supporting security improvement projects and initiatives. Producing security reports, documentation, and recommendations. Working closely with infrastructure and IT teams to ensure security best practices are embedded across the business.
