The business is continuing to invest heavily in its IT infrastructure and cloud capabilities and is now looking to appoint an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong 3rd Line Support and infrastructure project experience who enjoys working across both BAU and transformational environments.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing a hybrid cloud infrastructure environment, working across a broad range of technologies spanning on-prem and cloud platforms. The position will involve a mixture of escalated support, infrastructure improvement projects and cloud-focused initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to help deliver a resilient, secure and scalable infrastructure platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 3rd Line infrastructure support across server, cloud and virtualised environments
- Supporting and delivering infrastructure and cloud-based projects
- Maintaining and improving hybrid cloud environments
- Supporting backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Working across server, storage, networking and virtualisation technologies
- Contributing to infrastructure upgrades, migrations and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience Required
We’re looking to speak with candidates who have experience in some of the following areas:
- Strong 3rd Line Support experience
- Infrastructure and/or Cloud project delivery experience
- VMware virtualisation technologies
- Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
- Backup technologies such as Veeam
- Windows Server environments
- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills
