We are working on behalf of a well‑established technology services organisation to recruit an Installation Engineer to support projects across the South of the UK. This is a permanent role requiring regular travel to client sites.
AV Installation Engineer - Permanent
Location: South London region (multi site-based travel required)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
Salary & Benefits: up to £40,000 + company vehicle + fuel card
Interview Process: Two‑stage interview process
Must have full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
Must be eligible for security clearance.

Role Purpose
The Installation Engineer will be responsible for the on‑site installation of audio‑visual systems at client locations. The role requires hands‑on technical experience, strong problem‑solving ability and the capability to work collaboratively with internal teams and subcontractors to deliver high‑quality AV solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing a wide range of audio‑visual equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, video‑conferencing solutions and control systems
- Ensuring all installations meet manufacturer specifications and internal quality standards
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures during installation activities
- Working in line with company policies and operational processes
- Maintaining company vehicle checks and servicing requirements
- Ensuring personal tools and PPE are safe, compliant and fit for purpose
- Participating in training and ongoing professional development as required
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in audio‑visual installation
- Ability to interpret and work from elevation drawings, schematics and technical diagrams
- Strong practical problem‑solving skills
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider delivery team
