We're working with a major UK professional services organisation to hire an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager on a 14-month fixed-term contract.

This is a maternity-cover position leading a team of four Talent Acquisition professionals responsible for experienced hiring across two significant areas of the organisation.

The team recruits nationally, covering appointments from junior and mid-level professionals through to senior hires, so we're looking for someone who can combine strong people leadership with excellent stakeholder management.

You'll work closely with senior leaders and Partners across the organisation, helping the team prioritise vacancies, shape recruitment strategies and deliver a consistently high standard of hiring.

The role: You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing a team of four Talent Acquisition professionals.
  • Overseeing experienced hiring activity across the UK.
  • Supporting the team with recruitment strategy, sourcing and stakeholder management.
  • Building strong relationships with Partners and senior business leaders.
  • Managing recruitment priorities and ensuring vacancies progress effectively.
  • Providing market insight and constructive challenge to hiring stakeholders.
  • Coaching the team and helping maintain a high standard of candidate and hiring-manager experience.
  • Working closely with colleagues across HR and the wider People function.

What we're looking for: We're particularly interested in speaking with people who have:

  • Previous experience managing or leading a recruitment or Talent Acquisition team.
  • At least two years' in-house Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Experience operating within a complex or matrixed organisation.
  • The confidence to work closely with senior leaders and Partners.
  • Strong coaching and team-development skills.
  • Experience overseeing multiple recruitment campaigns and priorities.

Experience within accountancy, professional services or legal environments would be particularly useful, although we're open to people from other sectors who have worked successfully within similarly stakeholder-led organisations.
