Location: Ealing, London (Hybrid/Travelling) + Company Car Allowance

Role Overview:

Jameel Motors is the global mobility sector brand of Abdul Latif Jameel and the official distributor for Farizon Auto in the UK. Farizon is launching its innovative SV in the UK in 2025. These vehicles promise to transform the transportation sector with innovative, eco-friendly solutions tailored to meet the needs of the UK's van drivers and fleets.

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Spare Parts Manager to lead our spare parts operations. The successful candidate will be from an OEM or Distribution background, and will be responsible for setting up our parts warehouse, developing and implementing efficient inventory management systems, and ensuring the timely and accurate supply of genuine parts to our dealer network. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle parts, extensive experience in warehouse management, and expertise in parts-related IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Setup and Management: Develop warehouse strategy, manage operations and implement WMS.
  • Part Number Categorization and Data Management: Implement a part numbering system, manage parts data, and oversee the electronic parts catalogue.
  • Inventory Planning and Control: Develop inventory strategies, manage control procedures, manage supplier relationships, and monitor KPIs (stock turn, fill rate, etc.).
  • Parts IT Systems: Lead system selection and implementation (DMS, WMS), manage systems, optimize their use, and provide data analysis and reporting.
  • Dealer Support and Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for dealers, manage order processing, provide technical support, and build strong relationships.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and manage the parts team, set expectations, and provide development opportunities.
  • Budget Management and Cost Control: Develop and manage the parts department budget, control expenses, and provide financial reports.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Extensive experience of spare parts management experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on commercial vehicles.
  • Expertise in parts management IT systems (DMS, WMS).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in setting up and managing a parts warehouse.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle parts and warehouse management.
  • Understanding of part number systems, data management, and electronic parts catalogues.
  • Proficiency in inventory planning and forecasting.
