The Role
As Waitress/Waiter, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of service and ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable visit.
Key Responsibilities
Service Leadership
- Lead by example to deliver consistently exceptional service
- Oversee all bookings, guest notes, and special requirements
- Ensure all areas are fully prepared for service
- Coach and support team members to maintain standards
Product & Service Knowledge
- Maintain deep knowledge of our menu, wines, cocktails, and allergens
- Share the story, history, and artistry of Jamavar with guests
- Maximise sales opportunities through confident, thoughtful recommendations
- Train and mentor team members on product knowledge
Health, Safety & Licensing
- Ensure all licensing laws and company policies are followed
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues, resolving hazards immediately
- Escalate any serious issues promptly to management
Organisation & Cleanliness
- Oversee section cleanliness and organisation throughout the shift
- Manage opening and closing procedures for the floor
- Ensure all equipment and service areas meet hygiene and maintenance standards
