We're looking for a

Seasonal Retail Assistant to join our friendly Gift Shop & Farm Shop team at the world-famous

Jamaica Inn . Every day is different, with thousands of visitors coming to experience our fascinating history, unique gifts, and fantastic range of Cornish produce.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Seasonal Retail Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable shopping experience for every guest by:

  • Greeting visitors with a warm, friendly welcome and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Serving customers efficiently and operating the tills.
  • Keeping the Gift Shop and Farm Shop well stocked, clean, organised, and visually appealing.
  • Showcasing our range of locally sourced produce, unique gifts, and exclusive Jamaica

Inn merchandise.

  • Assisting with deliveries and replenishing stock.
  • Helping every customer leave with a positive and memorable experience.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is

  • Friendly, confident, and enjoys interacting with people.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and a supportive team player.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexible and available to work weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and throughout the busy holiday season.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Competitive hourly pay.
