Role Summary:

Lead the engineering delivery of renewable energy projects from concept to commissioning across HV/MV/LV systems. Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and cost-effective while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting project execution.

Key Skills & Responsibilities Required:

  • 10+ years in Electrical Project Engineering (renewables preferred)
  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience working with UK grid operators (DNO/TNO)
  • Proven track record delivering infrastructure or energy projects
  • End-to-end engineering ownership (design → construction → commissioning → handover)
  • Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems, including grid connections (DNO/TNO interfaces)
  • Experience with Protection & Control, SCADA, and OEM integration
  • Ensure compliance with UK/European standards (BS EN, ENA, G99/100, Grid Code, CDM)
  • Develop and oversee Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Support FATs and ensure equipment meets specifications
  • Provide technical support during construction (RFIs, redlines, as-builts)
  • Ensure QA/QC alignment and progressive assurance
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety (LOTO, permits, switching)
