Remote with office visits (Nottingham, Aberdeen and Wymondham - Norwich) Immediate start

Responsibilities

  • Hands‑on EC&I design and delivery work (not project management)
  • Produce and update key deliverables: cable schedules, I/O lists, SLDs, cause effect, load schedules
  • Develop control philosophies and functional design specifications
  • Perform cable sizing, load analysis, and protection studies
  • Support functional safety (LOPA, SIL, IEC 61508 / 61511)
  • Work on PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal / Allen Bradley)
  • Use AutoCAD Electrical for schematics, wiring, panel layouts, and P&IDs
  • Support panel design, build, wiring, FAT and SAT
  • Work in hazardous areas (ATEX / COMPEX / NORSOK compliant environments)

Skills / Requirements

  • 5-10 years EC&I design experience
  • Offshore Energy / Oil & Gas background
  • Strong EC&I design and documentation skills
  • AutoCAD Electrical for schematics, wiring, panel layouts, and P&IDs
  • Cable sizing, circuit protection, and electrical design knowledge
  • Experience with hazardous area equipment and systems
  • Able to work hands‑on in a delivery-focused role (not management)

Desirable

  • Experience in offshore or subsea energy projects
  • Exposure to cybersecurity considerations in industrial control systems
  • Experience with both design office and site/FAT environments
