Responsibilities
- Hands‑on EC&I design and delivery work (not project management)
- Produce and update key deliverables: cable schedules, I/O lists, SLDs, cause effect, load schedules
- Develop control philosophies and functional design specifications
- Perform cable sizing, load analysis, and protection studies
- Support functional safety (LOPA, SIL, IEC 61508 / 61511)
- Work on PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal / Allen Bradley)
- Use AutoCAD Electrical for schematics, wiring, panel layouts, and P&IDs
- Support panel design, build, wiring, FAT and SAT
- Work in hazardous areas (ATEX / COMPEX / NORSOK compliant environments)
Skills / Requirements
- 5-10 years EC&I design experience
- Offshore Energy / Oil & Gas background
- Strong EC&I design and documentation skills
- AutoCAD Electrical for schematics, wiring, panel layouts, and P&IDs
- Cable sizing, circuit protection, and electrical design knowledge
- Experience with hazardous area equipment and systems
- Able to work hands‑on in a delivery-focused role (not management)
Desirable
- Experience in offshore or subsea energy projects
- Exposure to cybersecurity considerations in industrial control systems
- Experience with both design office and site/FAT environments
