I’m working with an established electrical engineering business that is growing its project team and looking to bring in experienced Project Managers with a strong Transmission & Distribution background.
\n
\n
They’re particularly interested in people who have worked on HV/EHV electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission or distribution projects and understand the technical and commercial side of delivering these types of projects.
\n
\n
We're looking for people with:
\n
- \n
- Strong experience within Transmission & Distribution
- A background in HV/EHV, substations, grid connections or power infrastructure
- Previous Project Manager / Technical Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager experience
- Experience managing projects through delivery rather than purely design
- Good understanding of electrical engineering and construction
- Experience managing budgets, programmes and subcontractors
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

You’ll be involved in:
\n
- \n
- Managing electrical infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery
- Managing project programmes, budgets and resources
- Coordinating engineering, construction and subcontractor teams
- Managing client relationships and project requirements
- Reviewing technical information, drawings and specifications
- Supporting procurement and subcontractor management
- Managing H&S, quality, risk and compliance
- Providing technical input and resolving project issues
- Working closely with site, engineering and commercial teams

Experience with National Grid, DNOs, ICPs or major electrical contractors would be particularly relevant.
