  • Design HV and LV electrical systems for solar projects
  • Produce and review Single Line Diagrams
  • Manage grid connection applications and liaise directly with DNOs
  • Strong understanding of Grid Code requirements including G99 and G100
  • Specify primary plant including transformers, switchgear, protection systems, inverters, and metering
  • Support protection design and relay settings in line with DNO requirements
  • Review and respond to DNO technical queries and connection offers
  • Provide technical support through FAT/SAT and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with BS, IEC, ENA standards and project-specific requirements
  • Support design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering exercises
  • Experience with grid modelling tools such as ETAP or similar
  • Strong experience within solar PV, renewables, or power generation sector
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
