An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic Head of Cost Engineering to join a high-profile organisation delivering a multi-billion-pound portfolio of complex infrastructure and capital projects. This is a senior leadership role that will shape and lead the cost management strategy across a nationally significant programme, with a focus on driving value, consistency, and commercial rigour throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the cost engineering function across a diverse portfolio of major projects.
- Provide strategic cost advice and insights to executive stakeholders and programme directors.
- Develop and maintain industry-leading cost estimation, reporting, and control frameworks.
- Ensure robust processes for cost benchmarking, value engineering, risk analysis, and change control.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of cost professionals.
- Foster close collaboration with project controls, procurement, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure integrated and effective delivery.
Requirements:
