Electrical Project Manager Transmission & Distribution | North East £I’m working with an established electrical engineering business that is growing its project team and looking to bring in experienced Project Managers with a strong Transmission & Distribution background. They’re particularly interested in people who have worked on HV/EHV electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission or distribution projects and understand the technical and commercial side of delivering these types of projects. Previous Project Manager / Technical Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager experience Experience managing projects through delivery rather than purely design Good understanding of electrical engineering and construction Experience managing budgets, programmes and subcontractors Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills Managing electrical infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery Managing project programmes, budgets and resources Coordinating engineering, construction and subcontractor teams Managing client relationships and project requirements Supporting procurement and subcontractor management Managing H&S, quality, risk and compliance Providing technical input and resolving project issues Working closely with site, engineering and commercial teams Experience with National Grid, DNOs, ICPs or major electrical contractors would be particularly relevant.
