Cost Engineer

A leading construction and engineering firm based in Bristol, dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across infrastructure and construction. With a strong track record of success and a commitment to excellence, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager to join our dynamic team.

Within this role you will join an existing Project Controls team offering Cost Engineering support and expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project costing, budgeting, and financial analysis within the construction and engineering industry. This role is based in our Birmingham office and will involve working on a variety of projects across the region.

• Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates for engineering and construction projects.
• Conduct cost analysis and financial assessments to track project expenditures and ensure budget compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyse project cost data, identifying trends and potential risks.

• Proven experience as a Cost Engineer or similar role in the construction and engineering industry.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines.
