JAM Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Setter/Operator on behalf of our client based in Tamworth. We are looking for reliable, skilled candidates with proven experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibrate press brake machines in line with specifications and technical drawings.
- Operate AMADA press brakes to accurately bend sheet metal to required angles and dimensions.
- Monitor machine performance during production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
- Inspect finished components for defects, ensuring all parts meet quality standards.
- Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
- Use hand tools, tooling, and measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges to verify accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of sheet metal components for assembly or further fabrication.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00–16:00
- Friday: 07:00–12:00
Pay Rate:
- £14.00–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime available
